Volume 2.4, Forth Quarter 2003

A Word from the President
Hello Friends! The reason we did not have a 3rd quarter newsletter is because I was in Kenya. We appointed 4 new people to our board. The following people are the new leadership for our organization for 2004-2006: John Ole Tome-Founder and Chairman of the Board, John Sankok-Executive Member and Coordinator, Bernadette Resian-Vice Chairperson, Omah Naisho-Secretary, Rose Kudate-Vice Treasurer, Serena Wilcox-President and CEO.

2004 Matching Gifts Challenge
Partners! I am excited to announce that I have committed $3,000 of my own money towards a matching gifts challenge. The challenge works like this, every dollar that is given to our scholarship fund, I will match it dollar for dollar up to $3,000! This will allow us to give at least $6,000 in scholarships in 2004. If any of you are interested in presenting a matching gifts challenge, please contact us so that we can arrange it. Forms are available in the back of this newsletter.

Exciting News!

We are now registered with USAID as an International Humanitarian Organization!
